This dental "tape" is thicker and stronger than average dental floss, and I would not dream of using any of the typical thin ones. Of course, if you have one or more very tight gaps, you may not be able to use this.

Happy as a shore bird with a french fry.
Husbands favorite dental floss. So no longer stores are carrying this size and shape dispenser and twice now we've opted to buy on Ebay and twice with our internet searches it's the best price. And so far very happy with purchases. I myself use a different brand of dental like tape and it is not sold in this size but is available in just a raw no case spool for dental offices. I prefer to order that and usually buy 2-3 of those when it appears on sale. Every person is different. Our teeth and what's happened for crown and fillings or not and if they are straight or healthy gums or not all these things play into what a person likes better or works best for them. Some it's dental floss some it's tape some it's mint flavored or like this my husband wants no flavor. What both my husband and I ... Husbands favorite dental floss. What both my husband and I agree on is WE PREFER these canister stand up floss cartridges over the flat ones that hold a lot less floss. So this is a win win. In my case I kept two empty cases now more than 20 years old that I had been using with some sewing spools of specialized thread. When I ordered the no case spools of what I like I was able to reclaim one of those cases and the spools fit perfectly so I avoided having to pay 12 to 17 for a new case sold to go with these spools .In the end I'm a happy camper and hubby is as happy as a shore bird with a french fry. Seller sent in good time and will buy again if he gets low.

best floss ever!
This is the best floss I have ever tried. I have mostly large spaces between teeth, and it works great. One space is small, and it got stuck there a couple times and broke, so I know now not to keep trying to yank it, but just take it out by pulling it through, so it's not an issue any more. I love that it's unwaxed, so it's real easy to hold it, not slippery. It feels satisfying on my gums too. I highly recommend it.This is the best floss I have ever tried. High quality easy to use floss for anybody.
This is excellent floss for someone who has bigger spaces between their teeth OR for someone whose floss often breaks because it's tight. The floss is a flattened string (almost like mini webbing) that is stronger than normal floss, but skinny one way and wide the other. Perfect for me.

Have used this floss for years and years and it is by far the very best. Most importantly, unlike other flosses I've used, it's strong and seldom if ever shreds even when used between tight teeth. In fact when I tried using conventional dental floss and it shredded leaving fine pieces of floss between tight teeth, this is the floss I used to remove those shredded pieces. Additionally, being it is"Dentotape" instead of conventional floss, it has a much wider cleaning surface. And, it's quite heavily waxed so slides and cleans far better than conventional flosses. Have used this floss for years and years and it is by far the very best. Most importantly, unlike other flosses I've used, it's strong and seldom if ever shreds even when used between tight teeth. In fact when I tried using conventional dental floss and it shredded leaving fine pieces of floss between tight teeth, this is the floss I used to remove those shredded pieces. Additionally, being it is"Dentotape" instead of conventional floss, it has a much wider cleaning surface. And, it's quite heavily waxed so slides and cleans far better than conventional flosses.
