The enclosed photographs show both sprockets and the differences in the actual engagement with the brush bar. The indifference is probably due to a compatible manufacturer.  the first two photos are with the new motor the second two with the old motor, between four and 5 mm difference. Modification required.

Excellent replacement. It should be pointed out though it is necessary to shorten the shaft in order for the brush roller to fully seat.
