Arrived on 27/10/2025 securely packaged and item (R Strauss - Salome/Christoph Von Dohnányi: Catherine Malfitano/Bryn Terfel Decca opera CD box set) "very good, mint, nr mint,unplayed". All components intact on arrival including the fat box, 2 disc and the booklet/libretto. Another quality product at a very reasonable price (£9.49 for this 2 cd opera set) with free P&P. Miami Vice - The series they tried to kill
Following the so-called 'Hungerford Massacre' the BBC pulled this off air in a hurry. Just another example of their hypocrisy, as several weeks later, after the Monkseaton shootings in the North East, No action was taken (because of their Northern prejudice no doubt). But fans of this are still talking about it nearly 30 years after it first aired on TV. Long live Crockett & Tubbs! This ISN'T the full set however - only the ones released by MCA. When are we getting the restored missing episodes like 'the afternoon plane' MCA? By the way, Michael Ryan DIDNT OWN A VCR - That was a fantasy The Sun (everyones favourite comic book) dreamed up to support William Rees Moggs attempt to sanitise British TV, of which 'Vice' was a casualty. Telly ported back !! I watched all the series years ago , just a pure Quality series . The music all through the series . Crowded house , Don’t Dream it’s ove . Phil collins etc . So glad I bought the Box set . Brings cool memories back .

The Don
The best 80's show period! Cars, guns, girls and music, it had it all. The format set the bench mark for later shows and Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas were the oppitimy of 80's cool with the Armani suits. Great box set for anybody who loves the classic show and it has been digitally remastered so displays in wide-screen format unlike the older box sets.

Old school but great!
I grew up on this series and thought I would indulge myself with the complete box set. I am loving it just as much the second time around. Send your wife out, get a beer and think of the days when you used to have hair.
