    heavy and important history of the Third Reich

    I have taken several courses on the Third Reich over the decades, and I have taught one on WW2's European Theater. This is incredibly good in depth scholarship. And though it was written a few years before Trump announced his candidacy, the relevance to understanding Trump and America is surprisingly striking! This is a very dense book in the best sense of the word. Not hard to understand, just packed with detail and reasoning.
