The detective drama MATT HOUSTON debuted on ABC in September 1982 and lasted approximately three seasons. An unapologetically slick saga with adventurous overtones and a glamorous cast, it concerned Matlock "Matt" Houston (Lee Horsley), a good-looking, wealthy playboy and the heir to an oil empire, who ventured from Texas to California to handle the offshore operations of his family's oil business. Once there, however, he found that little actually needed to be done, and spent nearly all of his free time working as an amateur P.I., working on solving local cases. Supporting Houston were his business partner, George Wyner (Murray Chase) and his sexy lawyer C.J. (Pamela Hensley). This set contains all of the 23 Season One episodes, as they originally aired.

An entertaining time capsule 0f 80s Detective glamour.
An entertaining mix of Aaron Spelling style 'classy' TV (DYNASTY) and 80s era TV Detective show featuring the handsome and easy going Lee Horsley, who looks a bit like Magnum and sounds a lot like Jim Garner in the Rockford Files. Lots of familiar character actor faces from (old school) TV and film populate the guest casts of the weekly murder mysteries, and the 80s era TV glam is laid on thick.

Pretty entertaining, takes you back!
Good show, just dont expect alot of great acting. Story line is simple, but keeps you ingaged.
