    My order arrived yesterday and I got no tracking from Amazon and found out today there was one delivered to package room— Amazon didn’t do well on this one . The package itself was in good condition and it was well packaged and did arrive within the projected timeframe.     The package arrived quickly only taking 2 days to arrive. HOWEVER, this is not the product I paid for. I was looking to get the silver metallic finish as was pictured on the ad: but instead received a matte grey painted version. The entire reason I paid the higher price for this item was for the color. This is a huge disappointment. Avoid.

    Lisle 58430 Shaft Type Seal Puller

    Easiest way to pull out an oil seal I have found. This tool from Lisle Industries is a quality item unlike the cheap copies of this tool you can buy elswhere.

    Great American company.

    I tried to use this puller to pull the transmission input shaft seal on a 73 VW transmission. These seals are stuck tight in the bore and horrible to pull out. The hooks on the tool broke without getting the seal out. Normally, this tool would have worked and is a great design. Lisle has always produced quality products and I would not hesitate to buy again

    How to use it.

    It worked perfectly. A local mechanic told me the biggest problem with a Lexus RX300 timing belt change was removing and replacing the camshaft seals. This tool made it a breeze. One note of caution, the steel blade can scratch the cam surface so I got a piece of viewfoil plastic (acetate sheet for the kids, available at Kinkos), cut it into a small rectangle and forced a corner in between the shaft and the seal. I worked it in so that the entire rectangle was seated around the shaft. Then I applied the tool and almost immediately, the seal popped out. Nice!

    Great tool that performed perfectly

    This tool worked incredibly well. I removed both cam seals and the crank seal with no problems. Well built with quality materials.
