The Celestine Prophecy
James Redfield presents what is classified as a fictional account of a search for a series of revelations or truths that are revealed as the main character ventures through both physical and mystical experiences. Each "insight" leads to new trials and tests that the main character, and the reader, encounters in order to get to the next "insight," or revealed truth. The novel is adventurous as well as metaphysical in the subtle and captivating scenarios that come one after the other. Reading this "adventure" becomes captivating from the very beginning and challenges the reader to continue pursuing the quests that are put forth. "The Celestine Prophecy" is the first of a series of subsequent follow-ups, or sequels, that enlarge upon the import of the first novel. Additional insights are set forth. Workbooks are offered. Additionally, the concepts are so engrossing that various clubs, "cults" and online email discussion groups have formed to explore and experience the "insights" set forth through the "Celestine Philosopy." Students of the mystical, occult, metaphysical and religious sciences will appreciate Redfield"s approach to the dissimination of "doctrine" that is applicable to many belief systems; both fundamental and esoteric. Pretty ok
For $4 I wasn’t expecting an in amazing quality book and I don’t really mind a book that has wear and tear. That just means it’s well loved. But one of the pages was torn out clearly (doesn’t mean I still can’t read it. And the spine was coming apart from the pages in the front but some tape fixed it right up. The kind of book you’ll read and read again

Ignore the title, read it anyway, it is one of those thought provoking books that either changes or affirms perspectives. If not, you won't read it,
Wow. I resisted getting this book, or reading it, for the longest time. Any time someone brought it up, I rejected it as politely as I could. I think it was the name. Weirded me out. However, after the first few pages of reading it, I knew why I was reading it right now, even if not why I rejected it many times before without knowing what it was... Don't let the name push you away. Loved it!
I read this book when it first came out in 1992 or 93’, I felt compelled to read it again a few weeks ago. I could not put it down and just finished reading it for a second time this morning.
