Porsche Battery Maintainer Trickle Charger 911 Carrera Cayman Boxster Cayenne
Purchased this trickle charger to protect the battery in my 2008 Cayenne, due to some extended travel away from home. Very easy to install and worked perfectly in my testing a few days before I left. The battery in a Cayenne is very cumbersome and expensive to replace (~$700) and so I wanted to avoid any problems upon my return.

Great charger
I have a 2013 911 and always keep this plugged into the cig lighter during the winter when I don't drive the car as much. It keeps that very expensive battery charged. At one time, I was buying a battery about every two years and that gets expensive. Well worth the $'s to buy this charger.

Boxster Application
While I'm disappointed with Porsche for the constant battery drain, this product is simple to use and the instructions were easy to understand. No issues since I've started using it.

Make sure you check for compatibility
Not all Porsche trickle chargers work with all Porsches. This charger did not work with the newer glass mat batteries in the 2016 and 2017 Porsche 911. I tried it on my 2011 Porsche and it worked fine. The charger itself is great with the right car.

It fit
What's to say? I have a 911 s4 & this fit & worked ...ty..After not driving my 911 for more than a month it was pass dead...I used this cig lighter charger & in about 24 hr's it started up!
