Good type cover replacement for surface pro 3
This was exactly as advertised. Don't waste time trying to put up with one with bad keys or inoperative track pad.

Key board
Was disappointed at the quality of the product, can very much tell this is a used product, however the description did mention. Main key buttons are shiny from wear. My expectations were for a much higher quality. Works very good, just cosmetics concerns.

Not behaving as expected.
This keyboard was refurbished. I am having odd things happen fairly frequently when I use it. For example, if I'm using Gmail, suddenly MS Word or MS News will open. The space bar often doesn't work and I have to go back and insert a space. A box sometimes opens asking about sticky keys. The cursor jumps around while I'm typing and I end up inserting letters where they aren't intended. The reason I bought this keyboard to replace the original one was that the 'b' key didn't work, but I didn't have the wacky behavior of this one. As I was typing this the cursor jumped to the middle of a word three lines up.

Like new again
Makes the pro3 seem new again. The type cover had a mothball smell at first but it’s dissipated now.

Works like it should.
A Microsoft update wiped out my system that at first froze, then refused to recognize the keyboard. The entire system froze on an update and I had to conduct a complete reinstall. I bought this keyboard during the no keyboard recognition phase. After reinstalling everything, my original keyboard worked just fine again. So now I have a backup that works as it should. Can't complain.

works on my surface pro 4
For a used keyboard cover it works very well. Typing is fine and it connects to my surface pro 4 perfectly. Trackpad is smaller than on my previous cover and clicks don't always register.
