This book was recommended to me as a first time dog breeder as the 'must have book' It was indeed full of useful information although somewhat dated now the essential do and don'ts are there. The layout isn't that easy and I would find the bits I wanted in different, even unexpected areas but they are there and fulfilled the reason for buying the book. Good reference book when breeding a litter

brilliant book....., below, mum and dad........
I bought the book a few days ago and my little Chihuahua gave birth at 7.40 this morning, the 23rd.....the book explains everything and I had build a small den for her to whelp in, she had 4 pups......thank you very much.
