Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant forge memorable chemistry in this charmer about two very different people--William, an unassuming bookstore owner in London's Notting Hill section, and Anna, a Hollywood actress--who, against the odds, fall in love. After Anna wanders into William's shop while filming on location in London, the two share an instant attraction and find themselves attempting to forge a normal relationship despite Anna's megawatt star power. Screenwriter Richard Curtis (FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL) has crafted a traditional romantic comedy that is surprisingly frank in its depiction of the lives of the rich and famous and the price they pay for success.

Just A Girl and a Boy
If I can judge it is a wonderful little film, sweet and sentimental with lots of Hugh Grant humour. Julia Roberts is lovely and believable. A truly romantic picture, without being offensive, disgusting or crude. A movie that will not change anything, but for pure romance, it is delightful. If a fan of either Mr Grant or Ms Roberts, it surely needs to be in your collection.

Perfect Rom-Com
Great Rom-Com ! I've watched it repeatedly !! The characters are funny, endearing, and make you want to hang out with them. Hugh Grant is a heart throb!

Noting Hill has remained a favorite of mine for the past 2 decades. Being able to purchase at a reasonable price was a bonus.

Great movie
Great movie. Have it on VHS but decided to get it on dvd in case the other ever develops problems. One of the best movies with Julia Roberts I have seen.
