Wilson Combat stands for quality!!
Wilson Combat model 47D 45 ACP 8 round magazines are top quality. I've never had one give me a bit of trouble. They're very well made. They're function is smooth. Spring tension is consistent along every one I've owned. The contoured follower is so much better than the flat followers in standard issue magazines. These magazines last a long time. I've been buying Wilson Combat 45 ACP magazines for many years, and used them in several different brand 1911 45 ACP pistols without issue. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase any 45 ACP magazine Wilson Combat makes!

Wilson Combat, simply the best
I have been using Wilson Combat products for decades, I find that their products are of exceptional quality, and reliability especially their magazines and in particular the 47D. I have used and continue to use most of their magazine types and have never had a problem with functionality in multiple brands and styles of the 1911. You will not find a better choice in magazines, simply the best.

Excellent Magazine, Solved My Problem !
Was having problems with my 1911 stove piping every once in a while with the factory magazines. I was advised by an expert 1911 armorer to try the Wilson magazines. I purchased these magazines and my 1911 problems were solved completely, no more stove piping and positive slide lock on the last round. I highly recommend these magazine no matter what brand of 1911 you might have.

Wilson Combat Magazine
Very good quality magazine. I needed a second magazine for a custom 1911 which has a Wilson Combat Magazine, so when I found this magazine, it was exactly the same as the original. I would recommend this brand of magazine.

Wilson Combat Magazine
I've always had good luck with these Wilson magazines. They run good in all my 1911s. Nice fit and easy drop. No feed issues. I like the follower as it has the correct arch which makes loading the rounds much easier than other designs.. Good value for the money.

Perfect for Wilson Nowlin ramped 1911s
There are generally 2 types of ramps you’ll find in a 1911 barrel; a Wilson/Nowlin ramp and a Colt/USGI non ramped barrel. There are 2 more but they’re so close to the former and latter we will leave them out of this comparison. Wilsons’ mags angled polymer followers make using hollow points so much easier than the standard metal followers on a Wilson/Nowlin ramped barrel and the finish of the Wilson combat magazines are satin and very smooth making reloads a breeze. This is literally the only magazine I would recommend for a 1911. 10 out 10 stars.

Not impressed
Bought a ATI 1911, wanted another mag or 2. Figured Wilson Combat is a quality product. The OEM mag that came with the gun is a better mag. The WC is cheaper feeling and need to keep mag release depressed while inserting, or won't go in all the way. Won't be buying this mag again.

A high quality 1911 magazine, period!
These Wilson Combat Mags are really good stuff, quality production of a well thought out upgrade. I recently bought a 1911 that had a regular design magazine that worked "sorta, more or less" but was kind of "grinding" when it was being loaded... I read plenty of reviews and the Wilson Combat design seem to work well for all the different writers and had no complaints. I ordered 4 of them on the power of the recommendations and they've been as good as the reviews said!

The best magazines in the industry.
I don't know what I can say that has not been said before about the quality of Wilson Combat Magazines. They are top quality, can take a beaten and still will last a very long time. Just change the spring and you are good to go with another 10K rounds.

Improves Feeding in any 1911 Pistol.
Have shot these in Colts, Kimbers, Springfields... NEVER JAMMED ONCE! Suggest you buy one now, and another later (as your budget allows)... until you have as many as you want. I recommend an extra just to allow rotating the loaded magazine with an empty every couple weeks to relieve tension on the spring. I've used the 47D for years and is the ONLY magazine I can recommend confidently. You won't be disappointed.
