A forgotten comedy by Caroline Aherne
This series is very funny, as usual Caroline Aherne gives a brilliant performance. Craig Cash is his usual affable self. He is a man child - like a 10 year old mummy's boy in the skin of a 37 year old grown man. A great performance also by Brian as Arthur Capstick, a friend of of Mr Merton (who you never see or hear as he is ill in bed). The family is stuck in a time warp of their own imagination, so it is a gentle yet sharp as a tack comedy which will please everyone.

One all the family can watch
This is a very safe but excellent little sitcom, Caroline aherne is superb as usual even Brian Murphy is there, this slipped off the radar very quickly and that is a shame because this type of comedy is now lacking on today's tv. Well worth the bargain basement price it now sells for.
