Title tells what the movie is.
A well written Christian story. The movie is an Excellent visualization of the book. The Saving Gospel of Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior is the center focal point of "Ben Hur". Excellent movie!
I love this movie! It was actually filmed in Italy, where the Roman Empire existed. The sets were accurate including the great Circis Maximus chariot race, where they built it exactly has history recorded its construction. the dolphins, giant statues, obolisks, & etc. were all in the original arena. Classic, powerful movie

Splendiferous
Saw this award-winning classic in the theater when I was 16. Soon after, I bought the movie album. Later, much later, I bought the VHS. Then I read the General Lew Wallace original story. Watched the DVD version so many times it wore out, so I replaced it with this copy. Story details are at any movie review site. Ben Hur intertwines the life, ministry and death of Jesus Christ into a tale of adventure, tragedy, revenge and redemption. Ben Hur is seen by many as the greatest movie of all time, and is likely to remain a favourite for generations to come. I love this movie
This is a great movie! I loved every minute of it! It's a great story of Christ! Wonderful for the whole family! Charlton Heston is a wonderful actor! All the actors did great! I recommend this movie very much!

An All Time Great !!!
Charlton Heston was one of the greatest Actors ever. Ben Hur is the story in the time of Christ. Some scenes were spectacular, such as the Chariot race. Nothing like it
Excellent restored original with full film on two DVDs with optional subtitles and additional commentary, if desired. I particularly valued the running film commentary after I had seen the first part of the movie.
