Works but could be better
The consumer "Premium" is fine and works well except that one cannot resize the window--what's up with that--it is either full screen or very nearly full screen. The Business software only installs as an administrator on Windows 10 but you can right click the file " hrb2015 dot exe " and change the security settings to allow standard (non-administrators) to see a desktop icon and run the program--what's up with that? There are no instructions from the company on how to do this of course (typical customer support). Also the business program bullies you into saving your files only where they save them though you can copy or backup where ever you want so while demeaning to you as a customer one can work around it somewhat. The Business software is much clunkier and industrial than the "1040" ... It is a completely different animal from the consumer friendly "1040" version. Beware when you go to print your return to uncheck many many boxes of which pages to print or you will print out 40 pages (most of which are full of "0's" or are irrelevant & you will need to shred) for a simple 3 or so page return. The lack of competition for the price keeps me coming back to this plus better the devil you know. . . .

Good and not good
We tried this program and have found it is not easy to do. Some information not clear and was confusion; the worst thing is this program dose not have a good way to protect the data input and save it. My wife had spend many days to file and almost at the end, we lost all the input. We feel uncomfortable about it. I have requested return it. Even the seller offered us to keep it for free but we are not going to use it for our 2015 tax return. To improve this program I don't mind H&R contact with us. I hope they can make better programs.We tried this program and have found it is not easy to do. The premium part of the software is great for regular taxes - however the part for business is not great! Lines don't add up with the places you have to check. This was like this last year also - you really have to be careful when checking boxes in the business portion of the software for estates, etc. I put up with it last year, but since this years' is the same, I may go with something else next year.The premium part of the software is great for regular taxes - however the part for business is not great! Avoid this software fo Estate Tax reporting
I have used HR Block tax software for many years. Relative to the regular 1040 software, this software does not fit the bill. I bought the software specifically for completing and filing Trust estate tax reporting on Form 1041 and all the associated supplementary forms. For those used to using the standard 1040 HR block software this software has a SIGNIFICANT problem - it is impossible to open individual forms to follow entries being made. When one selects the Forms icon, one gets a listing of all forms followed by "Installed" without the ability to open specific forms. Because the trust estate holds many master limited partnerships with their associated k-1's and specific instructions for Schedule E overrides not being able to open specific forms makes this software non-usable. ... I have used HR Block tax software for many years. Relative to the regular 1040 software, this software does not fit the bill. Because of this MAJOR software issue I ended up using the regular HR Block Deluxe software and transferring the appropriate items to Form 1041 at the irs website.

Best for the cost
I use H&R Block business tax software every year because it is the cheapest. It has built issues that you have to work around if you want to finish quickly and avoid hours of questions, but it gets the job done.
