Just not up to the task
Normally, I love Sculpey products. I work with clay a lot and I have a small business. This mat is very thin. The size is good, but it simply doesn't hold up if you work with clay on a daily basis. I would say if it's a hobby and you don't need to use it a lot, it should be fine. For me, I guess I am harder on it than most people might be. I had to cut the corners of the mat as they began to curl up from the surface. Considering the cost value, I didn't want to replace it with another of the same thing. I purchased a silicone mat that is used for baking, rolling dough, that sort of thing. That silicone mat is thicker and you can purchase them in various sizes. I gave it three stars because I think it could be fine for children or people who don't need a mat for professional purposes.
