    I had a good 1st experience with this seller. My item was as described, it arrived on time and undamaged. Communication was excellent. Although my item was undamaged I can't say the same for the envelope it came in. I was told that would be taken care of with the shipping company on their end. That's something I really appreciate because this seller is taking the time to do something about it. That shows this seller cares about their customers and that's key to great customer service.

    Item received in brand new condition. The pricing of the dvd is lowest than I have found anywhere else, but the item is pristine condition. Had a small mixup with the wrong dvd sent initially (which was also brand new condition), fhey responded quickly and sent the replacement. The replacement (and correct) dvd arrived faster than the original dvd! Excellent customer service! Highly recommend for being responsive and kind about the exchange. Thank you very much and hope to buy from you again!

    I Love Romola

    Interesting story, very wonderfully acted and filmed. I love Romola in these period dramas, she's one of my favorites. However, there is a strong sexual component to this drama that while being relevant to the story, might be a bit too much for a typical "masterpiece theatre" type viewer like me. You will NEVER see this on your local PBS station.....EVER. My girls love Romola too but I could not let 11 & 12 year old girls watch this. It is much more than pretty ladies running around in beautiful dresses. I never realized what a good actor Chris O'Dowd was, he managed give the character a good amount of humanizing humor and irony for which he is well known, yet managed to still make him an unlikeable person. This was not a "feel good" happy ending but I recommend it for people who ...

    Compelling!

    Very well done. These British films put Hollywood to shame having to rely on great writing and acting rather than a lavish budget or star appeal. Think of this as a darker, grittier Downton Abbey.

    Great movie!

    I love this movie, it is very entertaining, the type of movie you watch again and share it with others. If you enjoy PBS movies from another time, another place you will definitely like this!

    Interesting series, but a bit on the bleak side.

    Well scripted, good performances, well directed, with lots of visual interest. It captures the less pleasant side of life in Victorian society.
