Room is their life until they escape.
I just like this movie. A story mostly from the point of view of a 5 year old born in a garden shed. It's called room. Everything outside of room is TV land. His mother was abducted 2 years prior to his birth. They have both been held captive. Their life inside room is the 1st half of the movie. After their escape both his and his mother's life changes rapidly. A Great movie!
Nominated for 4 Golden Globe awards this movie is based on real events that we heard of in the news. A woman trapped for a long time in a room, he captor fathered a child, bravely she managed to escape and try to cope with "regular" life, Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay are stupendous in it, the movie is very engaging and well worth buying; very high quality, recommended!!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Unforgetably engaging characters

ROOM IS FAITHFUL TO THE BOOK

Room for toughts...
This poignant movie makes you wonder about the society we live in, what is happiness, what is freedom, what is love. It is not only the story of a young girl being abducted and escaping, it is her recovery and her adjustment to a world that is no longer as she remembered, and the adaptation of her son Jack to a world he only saw through television.
