The author lives up to the high standards set in his other historical books. Well-researched yet written to make history come alive.
Like other books from this author I have read, beautifully written and well-detailed. While this is a detailed account, the book reads like great fiction with character development and suspense, even though we know the ending! Also like his other books, well-researched. The Best written History of the American Revolutionary War bar none!
The best written account of the war with the British. Fast paced, compelling, easily readable. Makes all the participants in our country’s birth human. The first volume of a trilogy. Looking forward to the rest of the story.
