Refrigerator water inlet solenoid controled valves
This water inlet valve did not require any modifications to put it in the proper spot. Electrical and water connections were easy to put in. Good replacement
Bought this to replace one on my older GE refrigerator that was constantly dripping at the water spout. At first I was wishing that I would have stuck with the original GE replacement since the mounting bracket is a little different on this one. However, since you have to cut off the original plastic compression nuts to accommodate the new quick connect style of valves, the water lines end up a little shorter and you have to re-locate the valve lower anyway (even the new GE valves are this way). So this one worked out as good as new. Plus, the water comes out twice as fast as before replacing. I believe these valves have a small filter at the water inlet that can get plugged up with lime or rust scale over time.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Nice quality and inexpensive replacement for GE Profile refrigerator water valve
Purchased this two-way water valve for my 15 year-old GE Profile refrigerator that had a heari-line leak. GE original replacement part was ~$65 and so figured this much cheaper version was worth the risk. It works great! No leaks, quick installation (check YouTube for video instructions). Water flow on first day is very slightly less than for original, and slightly louder when turning on/off. Not sure if that will change over time. But for the price, it's perfect, and would gladly purchase again. One note: when replacing the two water lines, make sure to use a utility knife to slice off the last 1/3 inch of each tube (because there are one-way metal holders to hold the lines in place - cutting off allows a clean seal). Also, this unit has a C-ring to additionally hold the water lines in place, where the original didn't. Make sure to remove the C-rings with your fingernail or screwdriver before inserting the water lines. Then push the C-rings back to hold the water lines in place. Entire replacement took less than an hour, and most of that time was removing/replacing the bolts to access the back panel. Great product!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Good as OEM
These seem to work as well as OEM part. This is the 3rd valve: orig lasted 6 years; the first replacement (same as this one) lasted 5 years. Expect this replacement to last another 5-6 years. Refrig is GE GSHL5KGXDCLS (2009).Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Exact replacemenet water valve for my GE Monogram refrigerator

This item was an exact replacement, fits perfect and works Great! Very Easy install. Had my ice maker working 10 minutes, after getting the new valve. Solved all our ice maker issues.
