Excellent move for many ages groups
This is one of my favorite movies to watch around Halloween. It's got everything--comedy, supernatural, murder, 60's nostalgia. It does have what some may term 'hokey' aspects (the effects are not top-notch), but the story line is what I found so engaging. It has unexpected twists, and I was totally taken in by all of the actors--they did a great job. May not be suitable for small children, but it doesn't have any hard core bad language, no nudity, no blood and guts. I would term it 'spooky' in parts--not gory. Check the rating on the item, but without having it in front of me, I'd say it would be fine for ten and older, depending on their maturity level. I recommend it.

Favorite Halloween Movie
We've loved this movie for many years. It's spooky and creepy, even with the dated side effects. We watch it throughout the Halloween season every year.

great movie
it is a scary movie but also mysterious I loved it and am glad I was able to buy it.. this movie is wonderful because it shows friendship and also love of a family and sacrificing for those you care about and thought you knew I was able to find it on ebay there is a video store in modesto but they did not have it. thanks for ebay who did have it. Worth seeing for the for the classroom story telling and reactions at the beginning..
This is a long time favorite of my wife's, who watches the movie any time she encounters it. We've been looking for a while for an affordable copy for her collection. The movie is strongest in the first half - well acted and quite moody. I find it less strong near the end when it involves the ghost but my wife loves every minute of it.

Halloween movie early Americana. Ghosts being freed as justice is served, boy who frees them, survives.
Tragic mother and child ghost story. Setting is around Halloween. A mystery is solved by a young boy who solves the mystery, frees the haunted, while in peril himself. Justice is served. The story setting is around the 50s early 60s I believe.

Eerie Eighties Gem
All around great! Often forgotten Halloween treasure - Lady in White is like a spooky Norman Rockwell painting come to life (and afterlife - buahaha!).

Lady In White
This is a masterpiece of a movie. Beautiful and spooky, heartbreaking story that's just good drama. No bad language, adult situations, etc. I've looked for it for years!!
