Great Modem For Xfinity Subscribers
Great replacement for the Xfinity modem I was renting for about $15/month. The main difference between the 2 is you need a separate router for the CM1150V which I already had. Set up through Xfinity took just a few minutes. I found that streaming seemed to be as good or better than with the Xfinity modem. The modem & router handled multiple devices(laptops, smart phones, Roku, etc.) with no issues. As we still have a land line, the voice part of the modem was an added plus. All in all the CM1150V will more than pay for itself in the long run.

Great Comcast Compatible DOCSIS 3.1 Upgrade for Fast Internet !
Upgraded to the CM1150V to utilize the full bandwidth of the internet speed we are paying for with Blast! internet and needed the land line support for our home alarm system. Now we're getting max 300+ Mbps (previously around 135 Mbps). Easy to setup and Comcast activation took about 10 minutes to get modem registered and connected to internet. Lost first connection to the internet and needed to force a modem reset from Comcast to get everything functioning correctly and all seems fine now. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase and used pricing makes it a good value.

Basic modem
Pros: It is simple to install and connect with Xfinity. DHCP natively for the WAN Cons: It is not a gateway It doesn't have a battery backup for the times power is down and we cannot use the phone. Due to the lack of features for the phone perhaps it should have a lower cost.

Easy to use, fast, pricey modem with voice

Might as well have kept my 500v
Works like my old 500v and I see no visual difference in speed, but that may be my 10year old PC. I paid too much too as right after I purchased I found several for about $50. cheaper. Was on the phone with Comcast for 2-1/2 hours getting the voice to work, might be better to just go with a new one for $100. more.

Cable Modem for WiFi and voice for Xfinity phone connection.
Working good, Xfinity support required to set-up. They know exactly what to do! It’s reliable and fast and saves the rental fee on equipment that Xfinity charges. It will pay for itself with the savings from rental fees.

Product seems great - it is Comcast/Xfinity that is broken. Modem is fine and on the Comcast compatible list, comcast has trouble getting it going, perhaps because they prefer that you rent their equipment.

Great modem alternative for Xfinity 1gb internet with phone service
Replace my Xfinity XFI Gateway that I was only using as a modem. This works with Xfinity 1gb service with phone line. It took me a few minutes to realize I had to contact Xfinity to provision the service to the new modem, but once I did that, and then reinitialized my Nighthawk mesh network, I was up an running.

Very good modem.
Easy to set up. Took about 10 minutes but took some additional resets of it and my Eero wifi to finally get them to shake hands. Working fine now and is very fast.

Great alternative to leasing from Comcast
This cable modem works great and is an excellent alternative to leasing a voice enabled cable modem from Comcast - they charge $14/mo to rent one. The throughput of this device is just as good as the one from Comcast but it doesn't have built in wifi like the sleek Comcast unit comes equipped with so keep in mind that you'll also need a wifi router.
