    This seller is second to none. The game pieces were still sealed. The box was in excellent condition, except for one corner that I operated on with tape. This seller always package the game products securely. The game was "As described". Couple the cost of the game and the shipping, without combined shipping was a positive value, for me, to acquire this golf version.

    A Nice Fantasy Chess Set - Not much "Harry Potter" about it. Pieces are nice, but hollow and uncapped.

    This is a Chess Set based on Harry Potter - but the pieces are not Harry as King on the light side and The King Who Shall Not Be Named on the dark side. They are fantasy versions of the standard King, Queen, Bishop, Knight, Rook, and Pawn. The pieces are large and well molded. I love the fact that the King and Queen both have on armor and weapons - which makes perfect sense as they are actively and directly involved in war. The board is nice enough. It's a thicker game board, not like a cheap throw-away checker board. Again, nothing particularly "Harry Potter" about it. (Which is a good thing from my perspective.) The only problem I have is that the pieces are hollow plastic - thicker plastic, yes, but still hollow and top heavy. (They are several inches tall - most, except the pawns - ...

    A must have for Potter and Chess fans

    My 7 year old loves reading the Harry potter books, and playing chess. When he found out he could get this set, he was amazed. He loves this set.

    Nice chess set decent price

    At the price of an entertaining chess set cannot beat beat it for value, yes the chess pieces are Hollow plastic and the board is cardboard but the same goes with any chest that you buy from a store

    Harry Potter wizard chess set

    The board is foldable cardboard and the pieces are plastic, but this makes it more durable for children as it is less likely to break if dropped. The pieces are more interesting for kids than most chess pieces and my kids say they are true to the pieces in the second movie.
