This is because they are from a breakaway mold and there are about four points of contact across the top that are very evident and not smooth at all. From far away it looks okay. Not suitable for the exterior like I was hoping, so put it inside like the other pics. It's is new though. As far as value goes, fair I guess, but it's a bad product in my opinion... Dishonest.
