Great Poduct for Pole Bird Feeders
Great Product for Pole Feeders. My 3 residents squirrels Moe Larry & Curly was constantly attacking my feeders that was in my trees. No matter how long the hook or what type of baffle I had above the feeder, they would still find a way to get to my feeders. Had enough of them decided to buy a pole feeder and this torpedo baffle that fits on pole feeders. It is easy to assemble by yourself, no matter how old you are. The end of the story, Moe, Larry & Curly was very upset about this baffle even though they did try several times. Could not get under it and would slide off it if they jumped on it. I did feel sorry for them after their many attempts to get to the feeders and put down some corn kernel for them. I guess I will now have to buy them their own little squirrel feeder after they been ... Great Product for Pole Feeders. The Torpedo Baffle is strongly recommended for protecting your Bird feeder from squirrels!
I've tried many things to keep the squirrels out of my bird feeder. But, since I installed the baffle not one squirrel has gotten into the bird feeder. It's also easy on your bird feeder pole.

Works good.
Bought 1, liked it so well that I bought a 2nd one. Only problem is that if you want to put it on one of those steel 1/2" shepherd's hooks you will have to cut in half to be able to slip this thing on since it is 1 piece with just a small hole at the top and the large hole at the bottom because you can't slip it over the bent part of the shepherd's hook or the bottom because of the leg. I was able to cut mine and then install the Squirrel baffle and then weld the pieces back together. I bought mine to keep the raccoons off of my feeders and so far so good. My 2nd baffle is on a 1" pipe so no problems with mounting. Just bolt the holder in place and slide the baffle on top of it.Bought 1, liked it so well that I bought a 2nd one. Works Great!
The only thing is, it will only go on a straight shaft pole. If your shepherd hook has a support leg on it you will need to cut it off and re- welded. I did mine myself, shouldn't cost much to have it done somewhere, It's a very easy process. It definitely Works!

Best squirrel guard ever
I have tried other solutions in the past and this is without a doubt the best. As long as the feeder is far enough away from objects (trees, bushes, your roof) that squirrels can launch from to above the baffle, there is no way they can climb up the pole and past it. The bottom of the baffle should be mounted at least 4 feet above the ground which may require an extension to the pole (available on Amazon). I had to replace one of the two supplied bolts because the head passed through the hole on the mounting bracket, but this was a minor issue. Otherwise installation was simple.I have tried other solutions in the past and this is without a doubt the best.
