Great Pete Townshend !! Probably not for everybody, but for Petes True Fans IT IS !
Pete Townshend is one of the BEST musicians, song writers, composer, Performer and Genious' of our time! As you can tell I am a true fan. But this Cd is worth checking out if you are remotely open to something of Petes off the Main Stream of his usual musical styles. This Cd starts out very quiet, mellow and low, but by the end it is totally rockin & rollin !! I believe that history will prove this to be an overlooked jewell for years to come before the outstanding quality of this workmanship will be recognized. Pete uses alot of improvisions of instruments filling in for others not present. I Like It ! It is a benefit concert, and he sounds a little tired in some parts, but that in no way takes away from the brilliance of this CD Pete gives 100% as always and I am VERY SATISFIED with this performance! I had never heard of this CD before and thought that I would check it out. I'm Glad I Did ! I'm sure I will be listening to it for years to come. I highly Recommend it !!
