    I love this medium weight tripod.

    I looked for a long time before I decided to buy this tripod. This is my first tripod and I love it so far. It is easy to attach the camera, firm and medium weight. It is super easy to take overhead shots. It has all the features of a professional tripod

    excellent tripod

    a little longer than i expected when it is totally closed, but other than that it is perfect. the adjustable tripod neck and head is awesome. a little on the heavier side, not something i look forward to taking hiking, but very stable. holds a canon 6d and sigma 2x teleconverter with a 50-500 lens on it no problem. the bag is well made, and the snap locks are much better than twist locks in my opinion. I've had a few tripods with twist locks and they always end up breaking early.

    A tad heavy but Well Constructed

    I consider the Vanguard Alta Pro professional level equipment, solid and well engineered, my only concern is it is a tad heavy, but then again it isn't made of carbon fiber! I look forward to traveling to West Africa in a couple of months, with my sturdy tripod, replete with features that make it a bargain for it's price.

    Wow!!

    I've spent months looking for a tripod and I came across this one. I am beyond speechless! Wow! I am usually very picky and it does take me a long time to make a decision but it's because I want to make the right choices with what I want to spend. And this tripod is phenomenal. I'm in love. Seriously, I am impressed and there are no words to describe. I am more excited about the tripod than any of my other photography equipment!

    Nice Tripod

    I think this tripod is a good value compared to others I looked at. A more popular brand at the same price didn't have the two bubble levelers so I went with this unit and glad I did. I am real happy with this purchase, the vendor got here quickly and I was soon out shooting birds again.
