EGR cleaner that work.
This EGR cleaner actually do a good cleaning job and leaves an engine with better trottle responce. Used on a Citroen C6 2.7 HDI from 2008 with 110.000 km. One EGR valve replaced by seller due to malfunction, but I think I have saved the other by cleaning. FIRST I have used Wynn's DIESEL EGR 3 SPRAY as follows: Download and follow Wynn's recommendation - you MUST NOT rew the engine and JUST DOSE in 1-2 second bursts into the air inlet system as close to engine as your setup allows. Use the same oppertunity to clean the air massflow sensors with a dedicated spray cleaner for that purpose. Then you can add Wynn's Diesel Clean 3 to a ½ diesel tank a thereby clean the system further, including injectors.This EGR cleaner actually do a good cleaning job and leaves an engine with better trottle responce. WYNNS PROFESSIONAL DC3 DIESEL CLEAN FUEL EGR & TURBO SYSTEM CLEANER
Had a EMS Flag up on the dashboard and message EMISSIONS WORKSHOP 1 and car went into limp mode. Looked on web to find out more on this problem and was convinced that it was the EGR valve needing cleaning or replacing. Went to my local Halfords and bought the only cleaning spray that they said would clean this valve. However it meant taking the air filter assembly apart and spraying this product into the air intake whilst engine is running. Didn't like this idea and looked on eBay and found this product that you put in fuel tank and ordered 2 bottles just in case one was not enough. Within 2 days I got my WYNNS SYSTEM CLEANER added it to fuel tank and within a week the fault indication went off and on a few times then by the end of 2nd week it had stayed off and so far not re-appeared ... Seems to work.
Bought 2. One used in 12 year old golf and seems to have smoothed the engine somewhat. Will pull 5th gear get now cleanly from about 42mph with virtually no vibes, whereas before the car would shudder a lot. Proof really was once filled up again as I believe these products enhance the octane of the fuel so in the tank it seems great but a refill then gives you the old car back. Well 2 fill ups later the engine still feels smoother. Other car was a mini diesel. Put in as turbo seemed once not to spin up. Hard to tell with this car but no issues have reappeared. I guess if product was cheaper I'd use maybe once a month. At around £10 a bottle I'm likely to use maybe once a month in the golf.Bought 2. Quick treat

Easy to use, Time will tell
Hard to review this product Needed EGR valve cleaning on corsa diesil car and found this product, Just add to tank of fuel and run - no black smoke ar any visible loss /improvement in power but valve seems to be working - light has started to go out Product used wityh the ERG spray you put in the air intake. Worth a try..........
