Videos often add reverb to soften its harsh, piercing sound especially in the high notes, which can even hurt your ears. I fixed this by opening the instrument (five screws with a screwdriver), inserting thin foam, and taping the top sound holes, resulting in a much softer tone. Despite imperfections, its lower registers sound pleasant with practice; recommended, but could be better.

They always responded within several hours. I made my order on March 8th, and it was shipped out on March 12th from Japan. It was delivered to me in Chicago on March 14th. This seller uses an expedited high speed shipping through FedEx. I was very impressed. Item was carefully packaged with bubble wrap. Comes with a warranty card, and was in perfect condition. Amazing price
