The platform magnet isn’t strong enough to grab through the cutting mat. If I could cut right on the platform it works but the instructions clearly state the platform is not a cutting surface. Disappointed but the seller was outstanding!

I exchange platforms from the top 2 Popular Die Cutting brands and vice versa depending on what will work best. Lucky Spellbinders and Sizzix both realized the advantage to their customers to be able to swap dies, folders, steel rule dies and even yes their various platforms and adapter plates and shims. A lot of people never catch on to this however. Love the addition to my collection of accessories.
