NotesLimited hand-numbered 50th Anniversary Special Audiophile Edition containing two 180gm vinyl LPs and two hybrid SACDs which feature both the mono and stereo versions of the album. Foldout packaging includes restored original lenticular, not available for over 30 years. Also includes 20-page book, with essay by Rob Bowman, includes Michael Cooper's photos from original cover shoot. Their Satanic Majesties Request is the sixth British and eighth American studio album by The Rolling Stones, released in December 1967. Recording sessions saw the band experimenting widely with a psychedelic sound in the studio, incorporating unconventional instruments, sound effects, string arrangements, and African rhythms. It is the first Stones album to feature the same track listings in both it's UK and US versions.

Beautiful repackaging.
A beautiful repackaging done for the 50th anniversary of this album I never thought I'd see the day and here it is I can't believe it just must have if you're a Stones fan. Although the packaging is elaborate three should have been two releases CD and vinal, but glad to have both now, this album has memorized me for years I have all formats now, even the original release in 1967. I just cannot break a way from it, it's the most different music I myself can say. I know this release is from the closet of not so good Stones releases, but in my opinion it is one of their best.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Like a rainbow!
This is an amazing package, including mono and stereo versions on both LP and SACD. The LPs were mastered by legendary Robert Ludwig, who mastered many of the best sounding original vinyl for the Stones, so even though the sources are digital, the sound quality is terrific. The packaging is first rate, too, reproducing the original 3D lenticular cover and containting great artwork and a nice booklet. It's even hand-numbered (limited edition). This is not the best Stones album by any stretch, but their psychedelic experimentation makes for an interesting and (for me) relaxing listen. "Their Satanic Majesties..." won't sound better than this
An anniversary edition that truly honors the original product. The stereo SACD mixes are amazing. Fitting the two SACDs in with the double LP makes this an impressive package.
