Styling is a little weird, be prepared these boots are really wide, but that makes them very comfortable (even with super thick socks); the sole is very thick and has a soft rubbery look and feel and appears to be good at shock absorbing. Love the side zip as it means once you tie off the laces you never need to touch the laces again as you can use side zip to enter and exit the boot. Very strong looking supportive boot.
