Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the disco/soul band’s best-selling 1979 album including six bonus tracks. Disco Nights was their debut album and also their most successful spending five weeks at the #2 position in the R&B charts and reaching #13 in the pop chart. ‘Disco Nights (Rock Freak)’ was the first single from the album and gained them the #1 spot in the R&B charts as well as #3 in the disco chart and #12 in the pop chart. It sold over one million copies in the US alone and has become an ultimate dance classic. ‘I Do Love You’ was the second single and spent seventeen weeks in the R&B charts, peaking at #5. ‘Make My Dreams A Reality’ was the final single from Disco Nights and saw GQ get their third R&B top ten in a row with it peaking at #8. Also featured is the band's cover of A Taste Of Honey's ‘Boogie Oogie Oogie’ which has gone on to be an underground club hit in recent years. Disco Nights is a must for all disco, soul and funk fans out there.
