    Sirui Ball Head K-20 X

    It is the third product I purchased from Sirui and I am pretty sure it will not be the last! My 20 year old tripod fell last year in a freak gust of wind and was broken beyond repair. Likely my camera survived! I purchased my first Sirui tripod and I was impressed with the quality and innovation. I still had the old ball head of my broken tripod and was used to the limitations it had. These limitations were a lot! Given the experience I had with the SIrui tripod I decided not to look too far and order the K-20 X ball head. Getting used to things is shutting your eyes for development and innovation. It thought me to keep my eyes open (pretty handy during photography anyway) and boy did they open when I started to use this ball head. Smooth, easy to use, solid and a high standard finish. ...

    Great Ball Head for the Price

    I own a lesser end ball head that was fine until I purchased the Sigma 50-500mm lens. The weight of the lens made it very difficult to lock it off and use the 500mm focal length. Locking it off it would continue to drift downward some ,then would steady. It took repeated tries to get the horizon where I wanted it for a night fireworks display. With the Sirui K-20x I do not have that problem. Where I lock it off it stays. The panning is super smooth and was one of the things that impressed me the most. It acts and feels like a more expensive Ball Head and I am enjoying it.

    Solid Head

    I own four Sirui heads, and they are all excellent pieces of equipment at very good prices. They are my favorites heads next to RRS and Markins, and they cost 50-75% less

    Just as good as others that cost much more

    Using this on the Sirui 2204 Carbon fiber tripod and a Sony A7R-lll body with the heaviest lens attached being a Sony fe 100-400mm with the 2X adapter. Camera will stay positioned even while carrying over my shoulder....if you crank down the pressure on the knob. Good value for the money. I also have used Gitzo and RRS for comparison and have found the K-20x to be just as good. I would not exceed the suggested weight designed for the ball head.

    EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!

    first it's beautifully made, well built,the precision is first rate and nice to handle, WAY WAY NICER than the Manfrotto ball heads
