    Must-read experience for fans of Gone with the Wind.

    I kept wondering whether the author had the benefit of a trove of Margaret Mitchell's personal notes. I found the plot and characterizations to be totally credible. At last we learn how Rhett Butler became the man he was, and wonder that he had any human emotions left after what he survived. At long last, a satisfying conclusion to the classic tale. At least twice I had chills at the end of a chapter, and couldn't wait to get back to the book. I will read GWTW again with new insight. I also recommend the author's other authorized book, Ruth's Journey, the story of Mammy's long and tragic history.

    Rhett's Side of the Story

    I always wondered where Rhett went off to when he would go abroad in Gone With The wind? This book tells about his life, his people, and his side of the story. It's a great "man's" book with alot of history. But, as a lady, I enjoyed it as well.
