Nintendo's iconic hero returns to 3DS with new puzzles and adventures optimized for three gamers in The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes. Presented from a top-down perspective, the action finds three different Link characters (one green, one red, and one blue) joining forces to explore dungeons, defeat enemies, and solve puzzles. This can be accomplished in local or online multiplayer modes with two other gamers, or single-player fans can team up with two paper dolls that can be controlled using the touch screen.<br><br>Tri Force Heroes makes use of a new totem mechanic lets the three characters stack on top of one another to solve puzzles and reach new areas. Gamers can communicate with one another using pre-selected emoticons, and as they explore they can collect loot to acquire new outfits that unlock special abilities or boosts. Multiplayer fans who are feeling uncooperative can instead enjoy competitive action in the Coliseum zone.

    You've been warned

    This latest title in the acclaimed Zelda series is, unfortunately, the weakest entry to date. The game is built around the premise of 3 player co-op. While that sounds fun on paper, the problem is that it's largely an absolute requirement in order to play the game. Three people (who all have their own 3DS) can play together locally. Two players can play locally, but only if they find a third partner via the internet. You can also play by yourself locally if you have two online partners, but that is mired with a few problems. The first is that the online connections are spotty at best and if you get disconnected - the game ends.     Good game if you want to play multiplayer(laggy)

    The game is fun if you plan to play multiplayer. I found single player uninspiring. The object is to collect materials by completing mini dungeons and then converting them into outfits that give you certain powerups to save the proncess who had her fashion sense stolen by the evil witch. The game is a bit quirky but i was able to overlook that. Multiplayer can be laggy and finding people who are willing to cooperate can be a pain. It is fun when you find a good group.

    Really good game for a really good price!

    This game is fun in single player and online co-op. The connections are stable and you usually connect with people very quickly! I do recommend this game. $12 is an unbeatable price!

    Triforce Heroes

    The game is fun. I would say it is a multi player version of link between world's. Less complex, fewer weapons and puzzles requiring 3 people. The story is not great. The experience is not what you normally get in a zelda game. A good game, but I if you are only getting 1 zelda game for 3 DS don't get this. Get Link Between Worlds. If you already have Link Between Worlds then this is a good game as well.

    Made for Multiplayer, not single player.

    Not the best single player experience. Made for 3 player co-op. Still has great bosses and puzzles.
