    Item was as described, in mint condition. Initial testing shows camera operates as expected. Good value for price paid. Appearance is essentially new. Shutter count confirmed. This is my second camera purchase from this seller and I am well pleased. Items were well packed for shipping. Package arrived within expected delivery window, but would have arrived a day earlier if DHL had notified me as soon as the import duties could be paid online.

    The condition of the camera was ‘mint’ as described. However the tracking provided by DHL was non existent. Had to telephone several times to find out delivery schedule, how to pay duty etc. Then had to wait in all day as there was no ‘window’ given. This is the first time I have bought from Japan, and the last. By the time the duty has been paid, it’s no cheaper, plus you have the aggro described above. I must stress this is not the fault of the seller, who I would give 5*s.

It does weigh more than double that of my equivalent sizesmd 24-70 f 2.8 g, if, ed, vr lens. It does have a strong lens foot/mount, for use on a tripod. It's perfect for low ligh!,t indoor events.

    A Most Have Lens

    This was a great buy. Shipped quickly, well packaged, and in mint condition. I use it every week for two or three sports assignments and it's been the backbone of most of my images. It's fast focus, quiet, and sharp. I love it.

    Older generation lens makes great value

    This lens is around ten years old, but it performs like a new lens. Durable, metal construction and weather sealed, it can be used anywhere and any time. Focus is lightning fast and, though it may be a little louder than the new version, the sharpness is insane. It is a heavy lens, but the weight is worth it. It is fast and tack sharp. The nice thing about opting for an early left, used lens is the price!

    Built like Tank but superfast like Japanese Shinkansen.

    I wanted to buy this one so went to the local market but the prices there are fixed and written on stone. Two years back this lens was sold for as low as RS 132,000 as per the Indian retailer itself. I saw this available online for a lower price and being an expensive product I was worried to order online. Nevertheless I was apprehensive regarding buying a used one, I decided to take the risk and plunge in. Happy with the plunge as I got a good well packed product, delivered from EBAY supplier. The product is correctly labelled, with warranty card included. Well packed...built like a tank. Black Matt finish. Works well for sports portraits and wild life.     A solid telephoto lens

    This lens is what you'd expect. The cost justifies it 100%. The build quality is amazing. It is not plasticy like so many of the other Nikkor lenses. The image quality is superb and so are all of the functions, including zooming, focusing and VR. Yes I know the VR2 is out, but this lens is still awesome if you can find one in good condition. It is heavy, but do not let that turn you off from purchasing.
