Great sounding speakers, if you have an amplifier
I kluged these together with a Creature II system that had two broken satellite speakers. These Apple Pro Speakers are standing in for the original Creature II speakers. Sound fantastic when powered by the original Creature II woofer. But, these Apple Pro speakers require and amplifier, and a bit of wire cutting and soldering to adapt them to a new system. The Apple Pro plug only fits certain computers (e.g. some Mac G4) that had built in amplifiers. These are 8 ohm speakers, and are very nice if you can find something to power them. Apple Pro M6531 speakers
I purchased these to make them a center channel on my computer , I had to install RCA/male plugs but they Match my set of Harman kardon Soundsticks III and sound great.
