    I will start off by saying the seller is really nice! They accidentally sent me the wrong movie at first, but I messaged them about it. They said they would mail the correct movie out the following Monday. I even offered to send back the one they first sent me, but they said to not worry about it.     Tom Hanks and a giant, slobbering dog - how can you go wrong?

    A better-than-average light comedy with Tom Hanks playing his great. likable self. There's an old axiom in Hollywood never to work with dogs or babies, and the dog in this film nearly steals the show. This "Dogue du Bordeaux" (or French mastiff) has such an expressive face that you feel his emotions in every scene. According to his page on IMDB, this was the first and last appearance of this canine actor. I hope that he and Hanks enjoyed making this film as much as I enjoyed watching it. SPOILER ALERT****A warning to parents watching with young children, there is a gratuitous heartbreaking ending about 5 minutes before the last scene (wherein a bit of the heartbreak is mitigated) but it makes me cry and curse the writers every time I watch it; young children (and dog lovers) will need ...

    Neat & Tidy Cop Adopts A Dirty Dog. What Could Go Wrong?

    Funny movie. Tom Hanks always gives a good performance. It's an "ODD COUPLE" take with a neat & tidy cop adopting a slobbering, dirty dog. Good entertainment and has a happy ending.

    Full of humor

    Helps to have owned a big, slobbery dog as I did! Tom Hanks is great as usual, lots of wit and such situations he has to contend with! He has to change his rigid ways, finds love for both beast and human. Ends as you expect, light, enjoyable movie.

    "What A Good Film"

    Tom Hanks and Hooch made this movie something to remember. Loved It! To be able to have a Dog like Hooch and to see his look-alike puppy at the end with Mr.Hanks scolding him out like He did when Hooch entered Tom's Home for the first time. A must see for all.

    Type of movie you can watch over and over and will want to.

    Family movie , very funny and well done with parts you laugh out load. A young Tom Hanks keeps it moving but the dog is the one who shines in every scene.
