CD Projekt's fantasy RPG returns with a massive open world and fierce new protagonists capable of destroying whole settlements in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Gamers once again take control of Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster hunter with supernatural powers, and one of the last remaining witchers in the world. The titular Wild Hunt refers to a mysterious group of deathly riders who are thought to steal people's spirits, incorporate the ill-gotten souls into their undead army, and then lay waste to large swaths of land. Only Geralt can halt their deadly progress.<br><br>Players can freely explore vast environments, including bustling cities, dense forests, fetid swamps, open seas, and even underwater locales, with horses, sailboats, and a fast-travel system serving to help gamers cover long distances. The tactical combat system finds Geralt using a variety of melee weapons, magic attacks, and ranged items like his new crossbow, and players can also engage in mounted combat, or use the environment to inflict damage. New witcher senses help gamers gain clues about their surroundings, new climbing mechanics let them clamber over rocky terrain, and they can still concoct potions and craft items to help them on their adventures.<br><br>Wild Hunt features realistic weather patterns and day/night cycles, with some of the game's mythical beasts exhibiting wildly different behavior and abilities depending on the time of day. CD Projekt estimates the main storyline to last about 50 hours, with another 50 hours of gameplay coming in the form of leveled side quests. As in the two previous games in the series, Wild Hunt's missions offer a variety of difficult moral dilemmas, and the choices players make early in the game can have a dramatic effect on events much later in the story.

    Witcher 3 Sealed & brand new AWESOME!!

    * Read entire review my COMPLAINTS are at the bottom* I always review games before purchase. So I've yet to buy a REALLY crappy game, the witcher 3 had many of the compelling attributes I look for in a game. Great graphics - Amazing story I LIVE LONG GAME'S - The amount of time it takes for me to beat a game is VERY important to me. This game is said to be nearly 100 hours long!!!! But because the edition I grabbed up is the "Complete Edition" it has 50 MORE hours of Add-ons ON DISC. 150 hours total. Basically a great game over all, its not easy to get me to rate a game 5 stars. If there was an option I would have given this game a 4.5 and here is why.. *4.5 rating* The control of the horse you are traveling with is SHOT AF!! Horses can swim smwith people on their backs!!!     Good value for a good game

    Great story, tons of quests (many of which are somehow tied in to the main plot or at least other quests, even if you don't realize it at the time), fun gameplay. A bit glitchy, but not too bad; usually more hilarious than annoying; kind of what you have to expect from a huge open-world game like this. Lots of extra content and very reasonably priced. Shipping was very quick, too.

    Possibly the best game of all time.

    This game is amazing! After I began playing it I became immersed in the story and environment to a level I haven't been since Skyrim was released in 2011. This game is a must for any RPG fans out there. Great story, great characters, stunning visuals and a combat system that leaves you eager for the next opportunity for battle to present itself.

    Captivating and Immersive RPG

    I do not play games often so I'm super selective about what I buy. I read all the rave reviews and decided to roll the dice. Very impressed with the both the story and game mechanics. This title is an impressive and immersive open world RGP that lives up to all the fanfare. Definitely get the GOTY w all the extra content included.
