    The Time Machine Blu-ray

    Great film, got this copy from the US as you can't get this film on blu-ray in the country at present. Had an issue trying to play it as it was from the US however got it to work as I found it was the player I was using didn't like US copy's. Just got another player from my computer and it played fine. The film is a great update from the first one made in 1960 with Rod Taylor. Guy Pearce is great in this film, he has come a long way from neighbours. I love this film hence why I got it on Bly-ray. Well worth getting.

    H.G. Wells would roll over in his grave if he knew about this adaptation of his famous Time Machine novel

    First of all, this film was so FAR removed from the original novel as to make one wonder where the idea came from in the first place. The main character (played by Guy Pearce) seemed to have no clue what the whole script was about. There was very little action throughout--other than the last 10 minutes or so when the Morlocks went on a killing (feeding?) rampage. The Morlock chief (played by Jeremy Irons) could have been portrayed by any actor in need of work because he was so "buried" in prosthetic appliances as to be unrecognizable. And that's about where the film ends. No final scenes of Pearce's character returning to his own time and relating what he'd experienced. There were some well-done CGI graphics that did add a dimension to the film that has been lacking in any previous ...

    Good sci fi movie with replay value.

    Not as good as the original classic 1960 Time Machine but still very entertaining, good acting, special effects, new creative storyline, good extras on disc.
