It's Superman!"), THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN was the first attempt to bring the comic book character to television screens. This first season originally aired in 1952, and established great cinematic characters such as Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and of course Clark Kent himself. By day Kent attempts to live an anonymous existence as a reporter for the Daily Planet, but when trouble comes calling, he transforms into Superman, the last survivor from the planet Krypton. This release includes every episode from the third and fourth seasons of the show.

    The seller did a good job packaging the driver and it made the transit just fine. My only complaint is that the shipper got it to me 2 days later than they originally said for delivery. The report system for the package was not at all specific as to location along the way. I think this one issue was very poor.

    Magnificent collection of the memorable Superman. His arguments are simple but entertaining. They offer us a picture of the early days of the Superman movies. The pack is very well preserved. Color image quality is very good, considering the time it was made. The option of subtitles in another language is an added value to these DVDs. I must say that the seller's attention was attentive, fast and efficient. I am satisfied with this purchase.

    THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN

    I used to watch THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN as a kid growing up. I remember the first two seasons as taking on more serious subjects. However, I enjoyed the later seasons as well. I didn't know these shows were filmed in color. Unfortunately, there were only B/W television sets at the time. I remember, in 1959, showing my next door neighbor the headlines in the LA TIMES of George Reeves' death. I'm sure other kids wondered how "Superman" could die. But, there it was in bold print on the front page. I'm glad the show is available in its entirety on dvd and I found the discs to be in perfect condition. It was well worth the price.     "Truth, Justice, and the American Way"..

    the George Reeves Superman set the standard, raised the bar..for entertainment and moral lessons for children in the 50's. Season 3 & 4 are in color.. delightful today on our big screens. a Slice of History and Heros, good for all audiences.. when times were simpler, when even the "bad guys" kept their word.

    Exciting Adventures

    Great adventures of Clark as Superman, Lois Lane & Jimmy. I love the show that has Clark undercover as a thief. He talks like a gangster. I put this on my dvd player & watch it all day. Lois & Jimmy go out west & dress up as cowboys - so cool.

    SUPERMAN IS MY HERO

    Superman is always awesome. You can't beat the orginal George Reeves who played Superman in the TV series in the 50;s.
