It gets the job done
- Networking features no longer work with this device and accidentally pressing the giant netflix button makes it frustrating when it doesn't at least direct you to netflix - It's region free for dvds (at least for me) - if I watch a video from a USB device and it goes on standby, I lose my watch process and have to fast forward through - noticeably good upscaling -if the user wishes to change the wallpaper on the device, they are limited to displaying it at very low resolutions which can make most images unappealing to look at - there is no simple way of making the blu ray region free - blu rays works well although I do have to reset the device to default settings every time the disc doesn't read correctly (not very often) -it is very pleasing to look at physically although the user interface is very basic and rather unpleasant to the eye. Better than you think, and packed with extra features.
Only 40 quid and full of tricks. It will even play files from a hard drive onto a normal TV via a usb port on the front panel. Plug it into the net and it'll give you any app based video on screen too. it's a great little toy.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Amazing little player

Small and full of features

Works well but needs better remote
The playing of DVDs and Blueray disks is fine as they startup automatically and the hdmi output is of a high standard. Would have been useful to have had 2nd hdmi or spdif out for the audio. The Internet connection through a cable is better than having a Wifi interface as it allows a higher transfer rate and I have not had any video stuttering. However the interface to the limited internet apps is a bit odd and the remote has keys so closely arranged that it is very easy to hit the wrong key which in my case always seems to take me to Netflics.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

The best player I have owned
Lovely picture quality a great improvement on my old cheap and cheerful one. This was a repaired by Panasonic item with a good guarantee It is paired with a new Panasonic Smart TV and was simplicity itself to set up. Superb quality unit.
We knew when we ordered this unit that being a Panasonic Blu-Ray player should be good and we were not disappointed, it is small, lightweight and very easy to set up to your TV, The reproduction from a standard DVD is exceptional so when we go to play a Blu-Ray disc it must be seen to be believed. Nice product
Its easy to use but would have been better if it had arrived with instructions. Its all on line so its just time consuming. The image depends on the quality of your TV . This particular item was a refurbished one and the condition was a bit disappointing but it works so I don't care what it looks like.
