Best & easiest designed
This remote is the best , it doesn't slip out of your hand, can easily find the buttons in the dark, I love the color coded and there's no lights to be shining in your eyes, once you learn it, it will be the last & only remote you ever want to use. Power button is away from all others, so you don't accidentally turn the TV off.

Tricky to set up. Great price
The device seemed to be identical to my previous DirectTv remote. There were no instructions included. The new remote was operating in RF mode. My TV was operating in IR mode. Took a while if figure that out. Otherwise, works great. Can’t beat the price.

So inexpensive and painless to setup
The #3 button on my mom's remote control no longer works. I did not bother to talk to DirecTV because I assumed it would cost an arm and a leg. I only needed one but decided to get this 2-pack from the seller 'brightmoose' because it is so inexpensive. The remote control was easy to set up and program for my mom's old DirecTV box and Samsung TV. I Googled on how to sync the new remote control to the DirecTV box (I now don't remember if that step is required) and just followed the onscreen instructions for less than 5 minutes. My 90-year-old mom is happy now and if the second remote in the living room dies before her, I have a replacement in the drawer.

RC66RX RF Remote for DirecTV - EXCELLENT UNIT!!!
RC66RX RF Remote for DirecTV equipment is their latest and most advanced model of that particular design. I have NEVER failed programming it with a code or a "code search" method for any brand or make of a TV set, be it a very old set or one of the newest ones on the market. (Specifically, I can attest that a couple of very new Vizio TV sets would not "mate" even with this remote's predecessor, RC65RX; but they were very quickly "conquered" by the RC66RX, as well as the RC66X). The new version of remotes, starting with RC71, win out in looks and handling comfort. On the other hand, since several buttons were eliminated, the new model is not as straight forward as the "original" model. One HUGE point against the "new" model is their inability to function in the RF mode with any HD receiver, up to and including H25; as well as all the HD DVRs up to and including the HR24s. It is also somewhat of a pain in the rear to change TV inputs from the "new" model, whereas there is a dedicated button on the RC66RX just for that.

Works Great
I was worried about buying a remanufactured remote but this remote works as good or better than the remotes that came from Directv. The remote looks brand new with no blemishes at all plus you get batteries. Great product and great price!

Easy to use
I prefer this type of remote over the newer, smaller one that came with my latest Directv receiver. It is easier for my old tired eyes to see the buttons with the black-on-white background of this model.

Very good price for two new remotes. Well worth it. works on the dvr HR44.
We needed two more controls for our bedroom since we have the same brand TV in our family room that we watch most of the time. No more carrying and trying to find a remote in the king size split bed. They worked great. Plus there new. I had to take one of our older ones apart and clean the keypad. I won't do that no more. Ill just buy a new one for this price. A+

Works the same as original Directv remote
This is a 2 pack of brand new unopened Directv RC66RX remotes. They work with our Directv receiver model D12-100 and look the same as the remote that came with the receiver. They program and work the same as the original remote.

Awesome remote
I was skeptical about the quality due to the low price, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well constructed the remotes are. They came with brand new stickers and are super easy to program other components such as TV and Blu-Ray players. I am very pleased with the price, quality and ease of use. This is a super great deal.

Fantastic!!
Perfect. My 86 year old mother reset it to the TV Works perfect They has warn the direct TV off the old remote and there was just one so they my parents fought over it. Afterwards each one got their own and now dueling remotes, they are competitive switching the others station over. It so silly but adds some spark. Directions were simple!!!
