    A lovely lens, ideal for my camera.

    It's too soon to be more specific re: the question boxes above, but the lens is what one would expect, and it comes with a proper bayonet hood. Small, light weight, feels good, and very little wide angle distortion in the edges and corners. Focuses to under 8 inches. Used on a Panasonic GX80. Just used it on a holiday - 492 photos in 7 days, only a small percentage of duds, mainly due to the 1/180 sec flash sync. Nice focal length between 28 & 35mm equiv. So far I love it. The AF/MF switch will be useful as an instant focus lock. I like the aperture ring, and prefer its half-stop clicks, though they could be a little stiffer (same can be said for the camera's mode dial).

    One of the best MFT primes in existence today!

    A beautiful, petite prime for micro four-thirds cameras which deserves every accolade it receives. The quality of the images it produces is stunning - just what you would expect from a Leica-branded, Japanese-made lens, and perfect in every way. Good copies of this lens (which mine is) are becoming increasingly hard to find, so if you feel you must have this little beauty - and you must, if you're seriously interested in photography - grab one while you still can. You'll never regret it.

    A delight to use.

    This lens is a delight to use. I find the aperture ring a useful facility. Image sharpness, good colour rendition and fine contrast make the lens a pleasure to own, as it is consistently good at making the best of any image. It would have been an advantage if the lens hood was reversible for compact storage, but that is a small point.

    Excellent lens

    Wide angle 15mm (35mm = 30mill f1.7) . As ever the Leica, Lumix lens hits the spot. Ideal for a general lens for general use with Leica quality.
