Classic! One or the best shows ever cut down in it's prime! 🤠
Great cast, great idea, great execution but bad choice of network partnership! Amazingly good acting mixed with cutting edge visuals at the time made this Western style show in a sci-fi setting seem like something that would be around for a long time to come. Creators Joss Whedon and Tim Minear were able to write a show and hire a cast and crew that melded with near perfection and chemistry. Fresh spins on classic sci-fi, Western and even comedic elements helped weave stories of moral high ground and ambiguity in the same stride. The characters are deep and challenged by their experiences in ways that feel natural. Overall the only mistake this show made was choosing to premier on Fox.
