Disappointed
Not exactly what I remembered from my childhood. Maybe I was expecting too much, or maybe this series gets better as it progresses, but the first season only has perhaps 3 memorable episodes, the best being the initial pilot with Roddy McDowell. The rest were somewhat corny and more comical and ridiculous than frightening. Maybe this was good in it's time, but now it's rather bland. Not willing to spend the money and take a chance on the next season in the series.

Night Gallery Part One
I grew up watching this show when it first came out. So I am bias. It is still very entertaining as I remembered it. It has a lot of the stars that are gone now; but I grew up watching. So I am partial to this and I even ordered a number two. I really have enjoyed it. It was a great price and send pretty fast. It was a great experience. I have already watched it twice. Still as good as it always was.

For a 1st season these shows are great.
Have only watched 5-6 shows so far, but so far they are great! We really enjoy the unexpected turns they take and the special effects. The shows listing on the DVD cover is a bit confusing compared to the listing on the TV, but we figured it out. They improved the listings in seasons 2 & 3.

Vintage Night Gallery Series With Rod Serling
Wonderful old time actors in this series...great performances...chilling stories...a great series for those who like spooky stories without the sex and gore like many modern shows. I remember this series from my childhood...I had always enjoyed the series then and I still do today...Highly recommend to everyone.

Night gallery
One of the best shows I love and remember growing up in the late sixties and early seventies. The pilot with Roddy McDonnell is the one I remember the most , but I love every single episode! The shows today will never be as good in my opinion for just good old horror entertainment with all the fancy computer effects.

Almost as good as The Twilight Zone
Episodes are in the same vein as the Twilight Zone. Decent Programing - made in the 70's before Hollywood started their obligatory inserting of profanity and sex in everything they produced.

Rod Serling's Night Gallery Opening Season
Nice bare bones Season 1 DVD box set with bonus episodes from Season 2 and 3. Decent picture and sound given the film archival material.

Still creepy after all these years!
Grew up watching Night Gallery. Still remember some of the stories, ESPECIALLY the Pilot. Truly not to be missed. It's worth paying for just to see the Pilot (seriously). Wonderful blast from the past!
