    Good product at good price

    Good design that you can have 2 plugs on wall at the same time, its power meter is very convenient for people who care about the electricity bill of certain device. Its cost is also reasonable compare with a kill-a-watt device, it is like a “smart-kill-a-watt”, and it really works, just make sure BestBuy server is working well (used to be very bad at the server end, now it is improving, hope its server always work)

    Pretty decent.

    I like these. I got lucky and found them at 3 for $15. They are old and are now discontinued by the company I believe but they still worked for me. I found that they do have some quirks and it sometimes turns the plug off while trying to connect to wifi, but I just hit the button to turn it back on and it connects. It does sometimes take a few tries to connect which is annoying but usually 1-3 tries and its good. Sometimes disconnects but unplugging and replugging them in tends to fix it.

    Alway off line.

    It was easy to setup. It was great when it worked. The meter reading was not much but is does give you something. But then the real problem came. It would go offline in less then a week. I had two of them and both would go offline then you can not control it. I would unplug the unit and plug it back in and it would work for about 1 to 5 days and would be back off line. And when you unplug it the meter resets to zero. No indicator for the WIFI signal strength. Would not reconnect by it self.

    Good hardware, poor software

    I like these products for two reasons, one I don’t have to monkey with my old wiring in my 1931 house. And secondly they integrate well into Apples HomeKit so I don’t use the Insignia software (bad) for scheduling.

    These switches are cheap and they work.

    I have 7 Insignia switches and they all work. I have a bunch of Sonoff switches and I have had more problems with them that the Insignias. The app works very well, I sometimes get the SERVER NOT FOUND message but it soon clears up. I have seen a lot of negative comments on these switches, I do not understand why. I bought these switches for an average of about $4-5 each delivered. WHATS NOT TO LIKE.
