Stop here
this item does exactly what you want. It is small but very good. The LEDs are bright and as I am using it on a DCC layout, both LEDs are illuminated. The unit is easy to fit to any position on the track and enhances the the layout. It is especially good as there are no extra wires to install and have showing. Easy to install plus instant "wow!".
If you want some instant "wow!" to your layout try these. I installed mine on a DCC layout so, they are permanently on, nice and bright and need no soldering whatsoever. They look even better if you can be bothered to weather them. I also glue mine to the buffer stop where the centre column with the lights meets the buffer stop with a very small dab of pva (superglue would work too). I also glue the buffer stop in position. This just stops the whole thing moving but none of this is especially necessary to get them up and running.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Train Tech buffer lights
Easy to fit, can be used on DCC or DC layouts although the light configuration differs slightly. Enhances and brings a bit of extra realism to your layout. Not too expensive either. Great product.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Very effective

Useful but not very durable.
Innovative and very useful but it's not very durable in that difficult to get it fixed straight & upright and to kwep it sp, also it's unforgiving if it has to be repositioned a number of times, bends and breaks easily at the split joint....
