Full-featured With Great Images At A Fantastic Price
The whizzy features do add some value (especially the HDR) but the real question in a point'n'shoot to me is: does it deliver in program mode? Landscape shots in reasonable light give excellent subject/sky balance with sharp contrast. So yeah, for a cheap little camera it's one of the best I've seen. The slightly lower resolution on a 1/2.3 mini-chip probably helps somewhat. I'd drool over a 3 megapixel cmos 1/2.3. It works!
